Barre

Barre is a discipline that fuses ballet technique with Pilates and functional training, designed to sculpt the body through precise, controlled movements. We work with weights, bands and resistance elements to build strength, stability and muscular endurance.

Classes take place at our studio at C/ Jeroni Antich, 11, lasting 50 minutes and in groups of up to 20 people.

There are no levels in Barre. All classes adapt to you, whatever your experience.

Frequently asked questions

How do the classes work?

These are small-group classes of 50 minutes, led by certified trainers: 10 spots in Reformer and 20 in Barre. You book your spot, you come, and we provide the equipment.

Are there different levels?

In Reformer, if you are just starting, your class is CONNECT Reformer: a class that focuses on the basics of Pilates and on using the machine. In INTUĖ Reformer and HEAT Reformer you will refine these movements and the pace picks up.

How do I book?

You choose a time and book your first class from this website. After that you book from the INTUĖ app, up to four weeks ahead, and you can cancel without losing the class up to 2 hours before.

What do I need for my first class?

Comfortable, fitted clothing, non-slip socks (compulsory) and your water bottle. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early. Socks are available at the studio for €4.

What is the difference between Pilates Reformer and Barre?

Reformer is practised on a machine with springs that adjust the resistance, at the Font i Monteros studio. Barre blends ballet, Pilates and functional training using a barre and the floor, at the Jeroni Antich studio.

What is a membership and what is a class pack?

A membership is a fee that renews every month (or every quarter) and is the best option if you will come regularly. A class pack is a set of single classes with an expiry date.

How do I get there and where can I park?

Both studios are a 3-minute walk from Plaza España, at street level and with no stairs. There is a paid public car park next to each.

What facilities are available at the studio?

Both studios have changing rooms, showers and lockers available.
