Your pelvic floor supports your posture, your control and your pleasure

Strengthening it means more freedom and wellbeing at every stage of life. 22 minutes seated, fully clothed and painless. Intue Pelvix works the pelvic floor through electromagnetic stimulation, in the same studio where you train.

What it is

A chair that activates the pelvic floor through neural stimulation

Pelvix generates an electromagnetic field that triggers deep contractions of the pelvic floor muscles, far stronger and more numerous per session than you could achieve voluntarily. You sit down and the chair does the work.

22 minutes per session

One to three times a week, depending on your phase.

Fully clothed

No need to undress or prepare. You arrive, sit down and leave.

Painless

It is non-invasive and does not hurt. You feel the contraction, nothing more.

No downtime

You walk out and carry on with your day as normal. It can be combined with your class.

What it is for

Strengthening and improving pelvic floor function

To prevent, to improve and to recover. These are the situations where it can help.

Women

Urinary incontinence

Improving bladder control and reducing unwanted urine leakage.

Postpartum recovery

Restoring pelvic tone and function after childbirth.

Sexual satisfaction

It can support greater sensitivity and pleasure in intimate moments.

Pelvic stability

Helping to prevent pelvic organ prolapse and maintain overall pelvic health.

Men

Bladder control

Reducing urinary frequency and urgency.

Sexual performance

It can help improve erection firmness, control and libido.

Prostate health

Support in recovery after prostate surgery and in maintaining pelvic health.

Core stability

Strengthening the deep core, helping to prevent back pain and improve physical performance.

Who it is for

You don't need a problem to start

In fact, half of the people who come do so as prevention. These are the most common situations.

Motherhood

After childbirth

Rebuilding your foundation before returning to intense training. What happens to the pelvic floor after childbirth is rarely explained well enough.

Sport

Even if you are strong

Running, jumping or lifting weights without leaks. You do not need a condition to benefit from it.

Hormonal stage

Peri and postmenopause

The changes of this stage also affect the pelvic floor. Preventing now saves repairing later.

65 +

Staying independent

Keeping control, without depending on where the nearest toilet is.

Men

From 45 onwards

Bladder control, prostate health and performance. Work that is rarely talked about and makes a real difference.

The process

Three phases, and you always know where you are

The programme is not open-ended: it has a beginning, a development stage and a maintenance stage. It is adjusted in your first session to your starting point.

01

Activate

Four sessions. Waking up and reconnecting muscles that often have not been working properly for years.

02

Train

Four sessions. Progressively increasing pelvic floor strength and endurance.

03

Maintain

Eight sessions. Consolidating your progress and spacing out sessions without losing what you have achieved.

How it fits in

Come just for Pelvix, or add it to what you already do

Pelvix is a stand-alone service: you do not need to be a studio member or have a membership to use it. It is booked per session or as a pack, and managed separately.

And if you already train with us, it fits perfectly: reformer and strength work need a pelvic foundation that responds, especially if you do impact work or lift weights.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

No. You will feel your pelvic floor contracting, which is an unusual sensation the first time but not uncomfortable. The intensity is adjusted with you throughout the session.

No. You sit on the chair fully clothed. It is non-invasive and requires no preparation.

It depends on your starting point. The full programme is 16 sessions over three phases, but at your first visit we assess your situation and tell you what makes sense for you.

One to three times a week, depending on the phase. As each session lasts 22 minutes, most people fit them in before or after their class, or during a work break.

Not during pregnancy. After childbirth, you need to wait until you have been signed off and follow your midwife’s or doctor’s advice. Write to us and we will help you work out when it would make sense to start.

Yes. In some situations, for example if you have metal implants or electronic devices such as a pacemaker, it is not suitable. That is why we always ask a few health questions before your first session.

No. It is muscle strengthening work, not a treatment. If you have a diagnosis or are seeing a specialist physiotherapist, the best approach is for us to work in coordination with them.

No. There is a specific programme for men, especially from 45 onwards, for bladder control, prostate health and performance.
